3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

To use SafeSail, you must register with a valid phone number. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities under your account.

3.2 Account Requirements

• You must be at least 13 years old to use SafeSail
• You must provide accurate and complete information
• You may not share your account with others
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

3.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.

4. Use of the Service

SafeSail is intended for personal, non-commercial use. You may use the App to access weather information and sailing recommendations for your own activities.

You agree NOT to:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or related systems
• Reproduce, duplicate, or copy any part of the App without permission

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Remove or modify any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices

5. Weather Information Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: SafeSail provides weather forecasts and sailing recommendations for informational purposes only. Weather conditions can change rapidly and unpredictably.

• Always use multiple sources of weather information
• Exercise your own judgment and experience when making sailing decisions
• SafeSail is not a substitute for professional maritime advice or official weather services
• We are not responsible for decisions you make based on information from the App

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SAFESAIL AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or use
• Personal injury or property damage resulting from use of the App
• Errors or inaccuracies in weather forecasts or recommendations
• Interruptions or unavailability of the service

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS (OR $100 IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID ANYTHING).

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

SAFESAIL IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of weather data
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Freedom from viruses or other harmful components

8. Intellectual Property

SafeSail and its content, features, and functionality are owned by SafeSail and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not use our trademarks, logos, or branding without prior written permission.

9. Third-Party Services

SafeSail uses third-party services to provide weather data and other features. These services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.

10. Updates and Changes

We may update or modify the App at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when these Terms were last revised.

11. Subscription and Payments

If we offer paid features or subscriptions in the future:

• Fees will be clearly displayed before purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled
